Buying a Chair
Are your chairs new or used?
Most of our chairs are premium pre-owned chairs. Condition varies by item, and we clearly describe notable wear, damage, or imperfections in each listing.
Why are your prices so much lower than retail?
Buying pre-owned lets you get premium seating without paying the brand-new-chair price. Many of the chairs we sell originally retailed for well over $1,000.
Is the chair I see online actually available?
We do our best to keep inventory current. Because some chairs may also be listed on Facebook Marketplace or OfferUp, availability can occasionally change quickly.
Can I purchase through Facebook Marketplace or OfferUp?
When a chair is also listed on those platforms, links may appear on the product page so you can choose the purchasing option that works best for you.

How do I know which chair is right for me?
Every body and workspace is different. Our listings include model details, features, and condition information, and our Chair Encyclopedia can help you compare the brands and models we carry.
How can I learn more about a specific chair model?

Are all chairs configured the same way?
No. Premium office chairs are often sold with different options and configurations. Two chairs of the same model can have different arms, lumbar systems, finishes, fabrics, tilt controls, or other features. Check the individual product listing for the exact chair being offered.
How do I know what size Aeron I’m buying?
We identify Aeron sizes whenever possible. Herman Miller Aeron chairs come in Sizes A, B, and C, and the size can be identified by the raised dots underneath the top edge of the back frame.
Pickup & Local Delivery
Do you offer local pickup?
Yes. Local pickup is available at our Long Beach location and is the easiest, most cost-effective way to purchase your chair. Local pickup is encouraged whenever possible.
Where is local pickup?
Pickup is available in Long Beach, California. Pickup details and instructions are provided after purchase or arranged directly with the buyer.
Do you offer shipping?
Not at this time. We currently focus on local pickup and Southern California delivery.
Do you offer local delivery?
Yes. Local delivery is available throughout Los Angeles, Orange, and Riverside counties for an additional fee.
How much does local delivery cost?
Delivery pricing is based on the distance from our Long Beach location and the number of chairs being delivered. Contact us with your location and quantity and we’ll provide a delivery quote.
Can you deliver multiple chairs to an office or business?
Yes. We can arrange local delivery for larger chair purchases throughout our Southern California delivery area. Delivery fees are calculated based on quantity and distance.

Can I sell you my chair?
Absolutely. Visit our Sell Us Your Chair page and send us the brand, model, condition, location, and photos. We’ll review it and let you know if it looks like a fit.
What brands are you most interested in buying?
We primarily look for premium office seating from brands such as Herman Miller, Steelcase, Haworth, Humanscale, Knoll, and other high-quality manufacturers.
Do you buy multiple chairs or office furniture in bulk?
Yes. If you’re clearing out an office or have multiple chairs available, visit our Office Cleanouts page and tell us what you have.

Local pickup at our Long Beach location is encouraged whenever possible. We also offer delivery throughout Los Angeles, Orange, and Riverside counties for an additional fee based on distance and chair quantity.
