About the Think

First introduced in 2004, Think was designed around the idea that an ergonomic chair should require very little thought from the person using it. Its weight-activated mechanism and flexible back respond naturally to posture and movement, making it especially effective in shared workspaces and environments where multiple people may use the same chair. Steelcase substantially redesigned Think in 2014, reducing its complexity and environmental impact while retaining the chair’s signature responsive support system.
