About the Sayl

Introduced in 2010 and designed by Yves Béhar, Sayl was inspired by the engineering of suspension bridges, particularly San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge. Its signature frameless 3D Intelligent suspension back uses varying strand thicknesses to provide support where needed while allowing freedom of movement elsewhere. Sayl was created to offer Herman Miller-level design and ergonomics at a more accessible price point

What to Look For

Inspect the suspension strands for cuts or damage. Test the tilt, seat depth, and arm mechanisms. Because Sayl was sold in many configurations, confirm whether the chair includes adjustable lumbar support, forward tilt, and fully adjustable arms.
